Hello, I’m Gemma Simons

A licensed psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and over 7 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s most challenging moments.

My professional background includes working in private practice as well as community mental health settings, where I’ve helped clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

I integrate evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and elements of psychodynamic therapy. At the heart of my work is a belief that therapy should be a safe, collaborative space — one where you feel truly heard, respected, and empowered.

I know that reaching out for help can be difficult. That’s why I strive to meet every client with warmth, curiosity, and genuine care. My goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change — at your own pace.

Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for space to reflect and grow, I'm here to support you.

Credentials & Training

I believe that effective therapy combines evidence-based methods with ongoing learning and self-awareness.

My training reflects a deep commitment to professional development and ethical, compassionate care.

I stay actively engaged in continued education and clinical supervision to provide safe, effective, and personalized care for every client I work with.
